Field Trip: Designing your garden in Harmony with Nature

A dowsing afternoon with Kate Smart, dowser and Landscape Designer at Waterperry Gardens in Oxfordshire.  Incorporating a meditative walk.  12 noon til 5 p.m.  Members only;  £15 plus entrance fee to the gardens. Bring your own lunch or enjoy their café on site.

Learn to Dowse or hone your skills:

We will be working inside with Pendulums and outside with dowsing rods; includes practical exercises.  Suitable for beginners. All equipment provided.

2pm- 5.30 p.m at Jordans Quaker Centre.

There is no charge for this event but donations are welcome.

Dowsing Festival: A Weekend in South Zeal, Devon 

Organised by Devon Dowsers; a choice of field trips to Dartmoor (on the doorstep) with experienced dowsers, and a variety of talks during the weekend:

Stone Circle and Neolithic Henge at Stanton Harcourt, Oxfordshire. 

Heather Stevenson, a long standing member of TVD and experienced dowser has kindly agreed to lead us for the day.   More detailed information nearer the time.

If you are interested in coming to any of the events listed then you must

email our Chair Sue to ensure a place and be kept informed of any last minute changes or cancellations. Your Committee values any suggestions for future field trips and speakers or volunteers to lead such events.

By booking your place on an event organised by Thames Valley Dowsers you are deeming yourself fit and able to handle the physical aspects of that activity. We will endeavour to provide a risk assessment for each event. Field trips may at times involve walking substantial distances on uneven and slippery ground. You are asked always to take due care and to wear appropriate footwear and clothing taking into account the weather.


We will on occasion be taking photographs at our events, especially those held outdoors. These will be used promotionally and on our website and Facebook pages. Unless you inform us otherwise your permission to use these photographs is implicitly given by attendance at our events
