WALKING BETWEEN WORLDS: A Shaman in the Community
With Caitlín Matthews
Shamanism is essentially the art of walking between the worlds, working cooperatively with spirits, and enabling changes that lead to healing. It is one of the oldest methods of bringing balance and healing, but is still practiced in every continent of the world, under different forms. Caitlín Matthews speaks as a shamanic practitioner about her work: how it is done, about the discernment and diagnosis of mysterious conditions, and how shamanic healing can work alongside other forms of support and healing.
Caitlín Matthews has had a shamanic practice in Oxfordshire for 31 years, working in the community, and teaching internationally. She is also the author of over 80 books, including Singing the Soul Back Home, The Art of Celtic Seership, Psychic Protection Handbook, and Diary of a Soul Doctor, which has just been optioned for a US tv series. She is the co-founder of the Foundation for Inspirational and Oracular Studies which gives a platform to the unwritten, sacred arts, and teaches a shamanic training programme. www.hallowquest.org.uk
